You may have been hearing from a lot of people so far this year. With the higher electric rates for the last few years it's really getting to be important to reduce the summer heat loads. My radiant barrier does that with no noise or pollution.
After the radiant barrier was put in place in the attic rafters we both notices how little the heat pump ran. The house seems so much quieter and cooler. It's nice to know all of our air ducts and air circulation system are much cooler so they don't send that blast of warm air when the system first comes on. We feel it has reduced our cooling energy by over 10-20%.
